Upgrade your Sloppy Joe game with this tangy and saucy BBQ version. Made with my Everything BBQ Rub for the perfect balance of sweetness and spice. Yields sixteen (3oz) portions.

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet on medium-high heat, heat the extra virgin olive oil. Add the ground beef
  2. Cook and drain the ground beef, then put back into the skillet
  3. Add the BBQ rub and cornstarch to the ground beef (burner still on medium heat), and stir until the meat is completely coated.
  4. Add the pineapple juice, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and molasses. stir until combined.
  5. Add Tomato Juice and continue to mix until completely combined and bubbling. Add Salt and pepper to taste
  6. 6.Serve on your choice of burger buns and sides.
