An Italian coffee-based dessert, is made with just two ingredients and is a coffee lover’s dream treat. Here’s how to make it at home without an espresso machine (and add info on hour to make it an adult drink).
Ingredients
- 1 shot espresso
- 2 scoop vanilla gelato (See notes 1 for substitutes)
Instructions
- Using your desired brewing method, brew 1 shot of espresso.
- As the espresso is brewing, drop 2 scoops of vanilla gelato or ice cream into a small drinking glass.
- Pour the hot espresso shot over the ice cream.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
