HI! I’m Jenn Giam Smith!
Daughter of a chef,
mom to five, and wife. I grew up in a family where food was always at the heart of everything. Most of my recipes are fun, approachable, and often quick (because, let’s be real, busy families need that!). Whenever I can, I love weaving in flavors from my Chinese, European, and Southern American roots.
When we’re not in the kitchen, you’ll find us soaking up life here in La Crosse, Wisconsin — making memories, enjoying the seasons, and gathering around the table as often as we can.

This Penne all’Arrabbiata with ground sausage and burrata is a spicy, creamy twist on a Roman classic. Made with passata, garlic, red pepper flakes, and a touch of heavy cream, it’s hearty, flavorful, and perfect for feeding a crowd. Topped with rich burrata and fresh basil, this pasta feels restaurant-worthy but comes together easily at home.
