Free Pattern: Fall in Love with Paris Infinity Scarf

Who doesn’t love a nice infinity scarf? My teenager does, and I have to admit, I also enjoy them. The Fall in Love with Paris Infinity Scarf is perfect for those of you looking for something to knit that doesn’t require a lot of knowledge. If you can knit, purl, and yarn over, you’re golden!

I made this because I found some really fun yarn at the Blue Heron Knittery while I attended the first annual Driftless Loop Yarn Hop (Don’t worry, I’ll share it on my Facebook when the next one is).

Free Pattern: The Large Crochet Tray Basket

I’m so excited to share my latest pattern, a crochet tray basket! This one actually came about because of our current move. My son found some huge checker with a mat-board at a rummage sale a few years ago when we lived in Black Earth. In our previous house, I’ve always had a nice small table the set would just lay out on and could be played anytime.

Free Pattern: Irish Moss Washcloth

If you’re new to knitting, then this Irish Moss Washcloth is perfect for you! This pattern is really more of a “how-to”. So it’s very forgiving. BONUS! You only need to know how to knit and purl. That’s it!!!!

The Best Part…

It looks the same on both sides, subsequently, there is no right or wrong side! Even when you use multi-colored yarn looks awesome. This one, just like the Bubble Washcloth, you don’t have to do the crochet part of this pattern. You can just bind off and weave in ends, but I personally LOVE the look of the reverse single crochet (Video Tutorial coming soon) on this washcloth.

Free Pattern: Bubble Washcloth

Originally, when I started yarn crafting, I only knew how to crochet. As I started searching for things to make, I started seeing so many great hats, and sweater patterns that were knit. This led me on a journey to learn how to do both. After completing my first knit project (a winter hat), I realized how much I enjoyed both crocheting and knitting. They each have their positives and negatives. Knitting brings a cleanness to things. Crochet has a different look and feel. It also offers different heights in its stitches. Both can bring great texture to a design.

Project Dining Room

I know I gush about all the quality-time I spend with my family rather often in my posts, but in all honesty, our time is not always together. My husband works a “9-5” job so the time I get to spend especially with him is always something I treasure. He is not a “sit and watch a movie” type. So I, in all honestly, will find or come up with projects to do just so way we can do them together.
