For those of you that might be new here, I’m Jenn, a mom of 5 ranging from 3 years old all the way to 18, yes, that’s right, 18 years old. So I’ve been doing teeth brushing routines for a while now and one thing I’ve learned… once you think you have it down, one of your kids changes it up on you. My 2 oldest just needed fun toothpaste and they were good. My 3 youngest, on the other hand, need more than fun toothpaste to get through their teeth brushing.

Well, to be honest, it’s the first year they’ve done it, but it seems to be an extension of the Prime Day sales with a few Early Black Friday prices peppered in. When it comes to things our kids look forward to each year, birthday parties (of any kind) rank high on the list along with no school days, summer vacation, and Christmas. While it might be tempting to throw them the biggest or fanciest soirée of the year, chances are time and budget (not to mention your sanity) for such an event far exceeds what you’re looking to spend/use.
You put candy in a pot (we like letting the kids pick it) and place it somewhere in the room/yard.
Then, you blindfold the first person seeking the pot (we always go from youngest to oldest). and place them somewhere else in the same room/yard as the candy. They go down on their hands and knees and begin crawling around trying to find the pot using their spoon/wooden stick.
Moving into a new place can be exciting! A well-thought-through housewarming gift makes a welcome gesture for that momentous occasion.
Picnics can be a lot of fun, but sometimes it can be stressful to plan everything and try to remember if you grabbed it all, especially if you have kids. I know we have definitely tried to do the impromptu picnic with all the best intentions to suddenly find ourselves stressed out, trying to find everything and then realizing we forgot something 🤦🏻♀️.
