Cozy S’mores Coffee Recipe – A Fall Coffee Drink You’ll Love

How about S’mores in a Cup? Yup, that’s right! S’mores in a cup! I mean… why not? It’s fall, the weather is FINALLY cooperating and feeling fall-like, and I know pumpkin is the go-to flavor for so many… I mean, even I have a few pumpkin recipes on my blog. But another flavor that just screams fall is S’mores (at least for me)!

Finished S'mores Coffee Drink

If you’re ready to sip on pure fall comfort, let me introduce you to the ultimate treat: S’mores Coffee in a Cup. Imagine your favorite campfire dessert—gooey marshmallows, melted chocolate, and crunchy graham crackers—transformed into a warm, cozy coffee drink. It’s basically a hug in a mug.

Now, don’t get me wrong, pumpkin spice lattes definitely have their moment (and yes, I’ve got a few pumpkin recipes on the blog too!). But when the air turns crisp and the bonfires start popping up, nothing says fall family fun quite like s’mores. So why not take those flavors and swirl them into your morning coffee?

This easy homemade s’mores coffee recipe comes together in minutes, and the results? A creamy, chocolatey, marshmallowy masterpiece you’ll want to curl up with all season long.

Why You’ll Love This Fall Coffee Recipe

  • Brings s’mores flavors indoors without needing a campfire.
  • Perfect for cool autumn mornings or bonfire nights.
  • Customizable—make it sweeter, add extra toppings, or swap coffee strength.
  • A family-friendly recipe with a kid-approved hot chocolate version.

  2. Pour in the hot milk and espresso. Stir gently to mix.
  3. Add the marshmallow fluff and stir until it’s mostly melted into the drink.
  4. Finish with whipped cream, a sprinkle of graham cracker crumbs, a drizzle of chocolate syrup, and a graham cracker piece for that perfect s’mores touch.
  5. Sip immediately while it’s warm and cozy!

Substitutions/Suggestions

No espresso machine? No problem! Swap in 2 oz of strong brewed coffee instead.

Ideas

Cooking with Kids

  • Crush the graham crackers in a small bag (kids love being the official “crumb makers”).
  • Scoop the marshmallow fluff—sticky fingers guaranteed, but that’s half the fun.
  • Decorate the top with whipped cream, crumbs, and drizzle. Kids can get creative here and make their own “s’mores art” before sipping hot cocoa instead of the coffee version.
